ROUGHNECKS OPEN 2012 SEASON AT AMARILLO ON MARCH 31

MIDLAND, TX. : The Lone Star Football League announced on Thursday, December 15 the 2012 regular season schedule for the league's upcoming inaugural season. All LSFL-based teams will play a 12-game regular season schedule consisting of 14 weeks total with two bye weeks included. Team schedules consist of six home & away games with week one scheduled for Saturday, March 31, 2012 and the final week of the regular season scheduled for Saturday, June 30, 2012.

The West Texas Roughnecks will open the 2012 regular season with a road match-up against the Amarillo Venom on March 31. The home opener for the Roughnecks' 2012 season is scheduled for April 14 versus the Rio Grande Valley Magic. The West Texas Roughnecks 2012 regular season schedule features a stretch of five consecutive home games starting on April 14 to May 19. The Roughnecks home finale of the 2012 regular season is scheduled for June 9 versus the Amarillo Venom.
