
ROUGHNECKS LAUNCH NEW TICKET PRICE STRUCTURE
MIDLAND, TX. : The West Texas Roughnecks Professional Indoor Football organization is pleased to announce on Tuesday, November 22 the organization's Coaching Staff for the upcoming 2012 season. Additionally, the organization announced a new ticket price structure for the 2012 season.
"We constantly make a conscientious effort to provide a bigger and better family atmosphere as well as entertainment, and I am absolutely confident that with this new price structure families of all sizes can come enjoy a game and not break the bank to do it. I am very excited to be the first to allow children ages 12 and under in free to Roughnecks games in 2012." stated West Texas Roughnecks Owner/GM Dale Morris.
Gregg Patterson - Assistant Head Coach
Coach Gregg Patterson previously spent six seasons with the Roughnecks Coaching Staff as the Offensive / Defensive Lines Coach & Running Backs Coach from 2004 to 2010. In six seasons with the Roughnecks organization Patterson helped the organization establish a winning tradition by recording an undefeated regular season in 2005 (14-0), and an Intense Football Championship in 2006.
During his ten years of coaching experience Patterson has worked in various levels of football from the youth level to the professional ranks. Patterson has never failed in reaching the playoffs during his ten years of coaching and was part of a Roughnecks Coaching Staff that received Coaching Staff of the Year honors following the 2005 season. During his time as a coach Patterson has developed experience in recruiting players, running combines for tryout purposes and player evaluations. Furthermore, Patterson has developed practice drills, game plans, and was a member of the National Indoor Football League All-Star Team Coaching Staff during the 2005 season. Patterson currently resides in the Midland/Odessa, Texas area with his wife Jamie and has a son Landry.
"Coach Patterson is not only established here in West Texas, but he obviously has all the tools necessary to win a championship and that is our focus in 2012, and that is to bring home a championship." stated West Texas Roughnecks Team Owner/GM Dale Morris.
Manny Rodriguez - Linebackers Coach
Manny Rodriguez, from Crane, is currently working at Midland Christian High School as a Secondary / Wide Receivers Coach as well as a Defensive Coordinator for the Junior High. Manny has coached at Midland Christian for the past five years. Rodriguez graduated from Crane High School, and attended college at UTPB. Manny is also President of the Non-Profit Competitive Sports Organization, MMFL (Mitey-Mite Football League). Coach Rod and his wife Tahni currently have three children; Ryver, Boston, and Callaway.
"I know Coach Rod pretty well as my son Daegan attends Midland Christian Junior High and plays on the eighth grade team. He is great with the kids and an excellent addition to our coaching staff and I look forward to working with him." stated West Texas Roughnecks Team Owner/GM Dale Morris.
Brando Patterson - Wide Receivers Coach
Brando Patterson was a part of the Roughnecks Coaching Staff during the 2007-2008 seasons where he served as Quarterback Coach and contributed to a 13-3 season along side Head Coach Brian Brents with the El Paso Generals in 2009.
